Christian's Birthday

So for Crit's birthday he went to school and dressed up as a dragon. He would walk around the school giving people hugs,high fives, you name it. The best part was where He saw cameron and tried to go give him a hug, well as you know cam was scared to death of "Comet". Crit had a SEP (a time where you meet with teachers) and a board of review. We went home to have cheesecake and open his presents. He and we had a wonderful day.

Halloween

Hey so a few days ago we had Halloween, now we were all scrambling around like pigs to get our Halloween costumes ready for Halloween. Now we all got costumes but some people couldn't decide if the re Halloween costume was cool enough to go out with friends. Like for instance, Crit was a Ref, and then a Soccer Player, Brooke was a Hippie, Paige was a Ballerina, Ellie was a Hair Stylist, and Cam was a Ninja. Here are some pictures of our costumes!

So the other day I (Taylor) was outside practicing soccer (I know that's unrealistic) and it was going great until.......

I broke the window! I know what you are thinking. "How'd you do that", "What were you doing", or "Are you KIDDING". But no that is the kitchen window cracked right above the kitchen sink!

So here is the whole story:

Friday afternoon I decided to go outside and practice soccer because I was bored. It was going fine I was just juggling and passing to myself. Well then I decided to practice my placement with the ball. And things started going straight down hill. First I hit the deck and it bounced into the pond. Determined that I was going to get 3 hits in a row I started again. I continued shooting each time almost getting three... And then it happened. I was getting kind of tired so my shots were getting more and more off target. On the last shot I took I pounded the ball. I thought it was just going to hit the wall but oh no it smacked the window and the window shattered.. That's a great feeling (not really)!! My mom had went up to the neighbors, so I went up there. As soon as I got up there I was like "Uhh mom I think I might have broken a window". And she said "How do you think?" And my response was it was shattered on one side but not on the other ( which it was). And she came home and called a glass company and they came and fixed it up, yesterday! So I learned my lesson! I don't practice soccer outside alone when i'm tired, bored, and frustrated!

Cam's new latest love is flipping tortillas!! He always cries when he doesn't get too... So here is a video of him flipping a tortilla the other day!! You might just want to ignore everybody else... Cause they are kind of distracting.... Enjoy!!

Flying Kites!

The other day it was extremely windy. So the kids went to the Junior High field and flew kites. It didn't last very long.. It was pretty cold too. But they enjoyed flying the kites and actually got them up pretty far! Chrit got his up the highest (well as high as there was enough string for). We hope there will be some more windy days for kite flying!!

YW General Broadcast

Last Saturday me and my mom attended the LDS church's Young Women General Broadcast. We were lucky enough to get to go to the Conference Center in SLC. We sat up in the balcony, almost smack in the middle. Afterwards we stopped at Nielson's Frozen Custard!! (Which btw is VERY VERY YUMMY) And got ice cream with some neighbors.. If any of you haven't gone just call me and i'll go with you!!

Cam and Ellie at the Treehouse Museum!

So the other day my mom took Cam and Ellie to the Treehouse Museum! Which is just a little place that you can go and participate in all sorts of activities. It's for littler children, and these two had a ton of fun!!

Ellie thought it was amazing that she got to milk a cow!! She was thrilled to tell us later that day!!

So the other day when my parents went out to dinner, I was the babysitter (like usual). But Cam wouldn't go to bed. So i told him he could go and sleep with Ellie. It was dark in the room so all i saw was him get up and walk over to her bed.

Logan Fam Reunion 2010

I know that this was a long time ago but i just found the pictures! These are from the Logan Family Reunion from last summer.. We just stayed at my grandparents house for 4 days. We went four-wheeling, swimming, to the Stadium of Fire, and did crafts! All of the kids (except Tyler, Cam, and Eli) slept downstairs in the tv room! It was a party!!!! I had a blast and cant wait for reunions to come!!! Thank YOU!!!!!

Chrit's Ballroom

This school year Chrit has gone early 3 days a week for ballroom dance. Here he is at a competition at UVU. He won a silver medal! He has two partners and dances the cha cha, the tango, and swing. He has done a great job and we hope that he will do well in the rest of the competitions he participates in.

A Day in the Snow

One Day we played in the snow. It was cold. We had a snowball fight! Some people built a giant snowman. Makell built a snow cat! It was a lot of fun playing with our cousins in the snow!

Before Christmas

Over Christmas Break we had a lot of fun! Grandparents and Aunt Paula came to celebrate. We built Gingerbread houses with are old neighbors. And watched our Grandpa spill flour all over his shirt.

Our Sick Little Boy

Our once happy boy is now very sad. He got a lot of ear infectons that made him pretty mad. He chewed a lot of gum, and watched the movie Cars. Until he felt better to cook again. Now he does a lot of both since he is hovering between feeling good and feeling bad. Our little boy so sad.

Over the past few weeks Cameron has been really sick. He has had tons of ear infections. During that time we have watched the movie Cars about 100 times. So all he has really done is chew gum and watch the movie Cars. Now he is well and back to cooking again!

For Family Home Evening one night we acted out Samuel the Lamanite. We had rented a scafflding so we pretended that was the tower. Taylor was Samuel. The rest of the kids tried to pelt her with marshmellows.

Brooke's Baptism

On October 10, Brooke got baptized. Our Grandparents came, our Aunt Paula and a few friends. We are so excited that Brooke decided to be baptized!

My oldest lady is 12!!!!!! Taylor is such a great girl. I am so grateful my life has been blessed with her. She is smart, helpful, talented, and all the way around amazing. She has taught me so much about dedication, devotion, and trying to be the best daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. After she went to Young Women's for the first time, she had already planned out how she would accomplish all the goals, and a time frame, and what her projects were going to be. She brought her scriptures, her book for setting goals, and marking tools in the car with us so she could pass things off while we were driving in the car. She is such a beautiful girl. It is hard to believe that I a) have a child that old, b) have a daughter is who is trustworty and tries to be and do her best, c) and a friend that is such a great helper to me, I miss her when she is at school (although, I am sure she is grateful to be there).

Taylor is a girl who knows who she is. She is a girl who recognizes how other people are affected by her actions, and tries her best to be kind to everyone. I am so grateful for her testimony and her example to her brothers and sisters. I love my lady and am so grateful for her in my family.

Camping Trip

A few weeks ago the Meyle's were staying at our house. We celebrated Trevor's Birthday. First we went to Cherry Hill. Then we came home and had Orange Chicken and Orange Sherbet. It was a blast. Trevor got some lego's, a bow, and a target.

Ellie's New Haircut

A few day's ago we had a Bridal Shower at our house. When all the guests were leaving, Ellie decided to go and cut her hair. Well she chopped off quite a bit in the front. So the next day she went to the lady that cuts our hair. This is Ellie's new haircut.

For Mom's 35 birthday we went to Tepanyaki. We waited about 45 minutes and then we were seated at a table in the back room. We sat at that table last time we came to Tepanyaki. The waiter came out and cooked our food right in front of us. The food was delicious. Then we came home and had chocolate cake with raspberry jelly on top.

Cruise

This past week Mom went on a cruise. She went for 4 days. She started in southern California and the Catalina Islands. We missed her. Here are some pics from the cruise. She went on the cruise with her friend that was going for her sons graduation. She saw our Aunt Kim's little sister and parents.

Piano Recital

Pine Wood Derby

A few weeks ago Christian had the Pine Wood Derby. He and Dad started making the car the day before the race. Grandpa John was here to help. Between our Dad and Grandpa John the car took 1st place in every race. Too bad Dad was in Florida during the Pine Wood Derby.

At my school we have one day where we dress up and act like Colonial Citizens. It was a lot of fun. We ate cornbread, soup, and pie. We played games. I made a candle, a brick, some soup, and a sock doll.

Disney Land

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to Grandma Kay's house. We had a lot of fun and stayed there for a while. We saw Spencer and Heather, Nick, Kim and Blair, and Ava and Andrew. Then we went to our Grandma Marsha's and saw the Meyle's. We had a great time at Thanksgiving.

Easy Bake

Student Council

I finally figured out that I made my student council for school. I am so excited. We get to do things that no one else in the school does. I do announcements in the morning, and on Friday's I can do snack shack. I have to sign up for both of those things though.

This Is The Place

We went to This Is The Place for the first time with my some of my dad's family. It was fun we did a mini rodeo, rode horses, went into the Pioneer school house, and did a candy cannon. In the mini rodeo they did the competition by age groups. I was the only 10 for the first competition. The rest of the time every one had people to verse. It was fun. We won desert dollars, bought candy from the Z.C.M.I store, and did many crafts and visited houses.

4th of July Balloon Festivial Fun

During the week of the 4th of July we went to the balloon festivial in Provo, Utah. We had to get up at 5 a.m. We then went to the balloons. This year some of the Grandkids got to help put air in Smoky the Bear. It was a lot of fun. Taylor, Christian, Makell, Trevor, Tyler, Uncle Matt, Grandpa, and my mom all raised the balloon. We got to see the hot air the put in it, and later that day we went to This Is The Place. It was a lot of fun.

Smith Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we had are Smith family Reunion. It was a lot of fun. We swam at my Grandpa's country club pool! Had the best fireworks show ever, and went to the Poulten Family Reunion. At the Poulten Family Reunion we accution desserts. It is just a blast. We also eat lunch. At the end of the Smith Family Reunion my mom and her sister Celia, and 3 brothers (Nick, Spencer, and Blair) played a musical number in church. It was great!

Soccer and Baseball

The 2 sports most played are soccer and baseball. We like to play both. Soccer is a sport that we play a lot more than baseball. Christian likes baseball a lot. His team is called the Indians. They are in a tournament. The 3 oldest all play soccer. Taylor likes to play comp. soccer. Her comp. soccer team is called Wasatch Avalanche. Christian played on a team called Blue Thunder. Brooke was a Yellow Bumblebees. It is fun to go to all the games.
